George V. Fisher Foundation Boat Grant Program

One of the many legacies that George Fisher left to One Design sailing was his support for junior sailors. Whether as his crew, part of his family, or a young person learning sailing at a sailing club, George recognized and developed the best qualities of, and lifetime benefits for, many young sailors.

In his memory, the Boat Grant Program has been created to lend young racers a stepping stone to the Interlake racing community and beyond. The program will provide a competitive Interlake sailboat to qualified applicants for a full racing season.
